Jamie Fletcher is the founder of Arrowmaker Holdings, where he leads investment and operating activities. He has spent fifteen years as a direct private equity investor, most recently as a Senior Director at Wendel, a publicly traded global investment firm with over $60 billion in assets under management. Anchored by a reference family shareholder, Wendel has a permanent capital base that is invested in partnership with management teams of growing, resilient, industry-leading businesses and supports their businesses over the long term.
Jamie sat on an eight-person investment team in New York that deployed $200 to $800 million of equity in each company. The team took majority, co-control, and substantial minority positions in leading, growth-oriented private companies based in the United States.
At Wendel, Jamie sourced, diligenced, executed, and oversaw direct private equity investments across several industries. His main focus was business services, especially companies that provided essential services to meet regulatory compliance requirements. He invested more than $2 billion of equity across five platforms. The combined enterprise value of those transactions was close to $10 billion.
He served on the Board of Directors of ACAMS and was an active Board Observer at Crisis Prevention Institute, Allied Universal, and CSP Technologies. His work with these companies focused on capital allocation, financing and capital structure, strategy and key growth initatives, value creation and navigating business challenges, supporting the management team on key hires, and add-on M&A. Under Wendel’s ownership, these companies completed more than twenty acquisitions.
Before Wendel, Jamie started his career in the Principal Transactions Group at Macquarie, a global bank. There, he focused on investing the bank’s balance sheet capital, typically in the form of uniquely structured capital solutions, in growing middle-market businesses in the United States.
Jamie graduated cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with distinction. He grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and has lived in New York City for the past fifteen years.
